To: All Tempe Diablos’ Ignite the Night Sponsors, Players & Donors,

To protect the safety and health of our guests, staff and community, the Tempe Diablos have decided to postpone our annual Ignite the Night event on April 25.

This decision follows the guidelines for social distancing issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in which gatherings of 10 or more people should be postponed.

We take the financial responsibility our organization has to numerous beneficiaries seriously. It is our hope that our participants and sponsors will endorse this decision to postpone the event and leave their generous donations committed in place. Should you desire to have your donation refunded at this time, we will honor that request and process it as quickly as possible.

We look forward to hosting the event again in the future and giving the community the opportunity to come together for a night of fun while fundraising for crucial causes.

The Tempe Diablos’ mission remains constant through this challenge – we will continue to lift the children, families and educators in our community during these unprecedented times. Our beneficiaries will need our support over the next few months more than ever, and we intend to provide it. A large part of nonprofit fundraising comes from events like this one, and we welcome all community members who can donate to our cause. The money will be used to keep hundreds of Tempe programs, grants and scholarships running.
